Healthy Body, Healthy Mind: Part 6

I’m not going to lie: training this week was god damn hard. It was a real struggle on both Monday and Wednesday to complete my regime. Today wasn’t so bad (despite being 40*C) – maybe because I had gotten used to having our new (regular) trainer? (Hi Alex!) Maybe it’s because I felt good about my cardio warm up? I don’t know.

OH! The lovely Nena (who’s also of Dutch descent) has joined us! So our group is up to four now 🙂

We’ve finished our first block of exercises, so next week we’ll move onto some slightly different things. I’m excited to mix it up a bit, but also a tiny bit…annoyed…because I’ve finally become used to the exercises / routine we currently have. I know what to do, how to do it, what it should feel like etc etc.

So…how are you feeling?
I’m a bit flat to be honest. I have been for most of the week. I haven’t been sleeping great, even though I’ve been sleeping long hours. Part of it is post-exam flailing, part of it is the nature of my depression. Next week, is crazy busy, but I’m going to try to go to class on both days I’m not part of group (having now got a swimming costume!).
